Crab Steer - The Four Wheel Supply Trailer

The BJSC1300 liquid supply trailer with 4-wheel steer is an ideal liquid supply system for planters, strip-till rigs, field cultivators and spraying equipment.

The trailer features a fully supported 1300-gallon product tank. It has 8-bolt hubs and spindles with 12-4-38 tires for improved flotation and for minimizing soil compaction. The four-wheel steer allows the front and rear tires to follow the same track that results in a tight turning radius of less than 12 feet.

A 120" fixed-width axle is standard. Other axle widths are available. The back axle may be locked so it may be converted to a two-wheel steer. Both axles pivot on greasable fifth wheels and the front axle pivots up to 10% up or down from the centerline to relieve stress.

Since our acquisition of PDF in 1992, Big John has taken the high-clearance concept to new heights. We have customized old as well as new units. With our retrofit cab and steering options, turning an old detasseling unit into a new sprayer or detasseler is easy to do.

Custom Manufacturing -- Big John Green Snap Machine

Designed to test the elasticity of a corn plant. The powered wheel assemblies may be adjusted at different elevations so as to supply pressure at different points on the plant. The powered wheel assemblies may be adjusted so as to increase or decrease the angle of deflection on the plant.

The green snap machine may be set at different settings to work the plant so as to determine it's ability to withstand damaging winds.

One of the many customizing operations that we offer is new head configurations. We are able to bring in you used tractor and bring new life to it. We can transform a standard tool bar capable of only solid bar heads into an individule lift-arm assembly that can handle up to 12 rows.
With the overwhelming interest in precision seed placement monitering, we have taken the next step to provide the customer with the most accurate way to plant today. Along with building our own on-board computer, we are designing programs to customize each growers.
